You start on the booth floor. The block is five weeks, then one extra week of on-site practice in the same shop.

The first day is in the booth with a coupon on the table, not a classroom catalog.

Each course runs as a five-week shop block on stick, pipe, stainless, or the other named processes.

Named processes from this school: stick, heliarc, structural, flux-core, stainless, uphill pipe, downhill pipe, and combination welding. A CNC plasma cutter sits on the same floor.
01 Stick
Shielded metal arc on plate. First process most students run in the booth.
02 Heliarc
Heliarc / TIG work on the same shop floor, next to the stick booths.
03 Structural
Structural welding for shop and field joints, taught in the five-week block.
04 Flux-core
Flux-cored wire practice on plate, same booths as the other processes.
05 Stainless
Stainless process time in the Edinburg shop, on the same floor as plate and pipe.
06 Uphill pipe
Uphill pipe runs in the same 15,000 sq ft shop as plate work.
07 Downhill pipe
Downhill pipe practice after you have time on the other named processes.
08 Combination welding
Combination welding that mixes the processes taught in this shop.
